James C. Knox

James Knox graduated magna cum laude from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon in 2009. While at Lewis & Clark, he served as an Editorial Board Member and Lead Articles Editor for the Lewis & Clark Law Review and was the recipient of the Outstanding Client Advocacy Award. Mr. Knox graduated cum laude from Albertson College in Caldwell, Idaho, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy.

Mr. Knox most recently worked as an Appellate Court Attorney for the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, Third Judicial Department in Albany, NY. In the Spring of 2011, Mr. Knox served temporarily as a confidential clerk in the chambers of Justice Edward O. Spain. Previously, Mr. Knox served as a Legal Intern for the Lewis & Clark Legal Clinic.

Mr. Knox is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, the State of Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.

In his free time, Mr. Knox enjoys spending time with his family and running marathons and half marathons. He finished the 2011 Boston Marathon in 3:11:52 and has qualified to run in the 2012 Boston Marathon.
