You probably know E. Stewart Jones Jr. as one of the Capital Region’s most famous criminal trial lawyers. But outside the courtroom, the Troy native carries a rather different caseload.

To name some of the community boards and organizations he has worked with over the years: the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York, Little Sisters of the Poor, the Teresian House Foundation. He’s been a generous contributor to the University at Albany’s Cancer Research Center at the East Campus, where a laboratory was named in his honor at the campus’ signature building.
